Information for Presenters

Oral presentations
  • Each paper will be allocated 25 minutes altogether, with 20 minutes for presentation followed by 5 minutes for discussion.
  • Presenters may use their own laptops or other mobile devices for presentation, via VGA input. Alternately presentations can be uploaded to the lectern computer available in each lecture hall. Lectern computers are equipped with Windows operating systems, and both PowerPoint and Adobe Reader.
  • Presenters are strongly encouraged to test their presentations prior to their sessions. Lecture halls will be open for trials 5 minutes before the beginning of each session. If using the lectern computers for presentation, please remember to embed all special fonts and external media.
Poster presentations
    For poster presenters, please note:
  • Each poster will be allocated sufficient space for an A0 size poster in portrait layout (or up to A1 in landscape).
  • Each poster session will run for one hour, and will occur concurrently with afternoon tea.
  • Thumbtacks will be distributed by staff for pinning of materials to the posterboards.

Auslan interpreters may be available on demand for delegates who require their services. Please contact the organizing committee at for more information.

Wi-fi will be available to all delegates free of charge during the conference.
